Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking services, or engaging with Jennifer Moore, LCSW ("Coach," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Description

The Therapeutic Coach Approach™ integrates coaching methodologies with therapeutic techniques to support personal transformation and professional development. Services include:

• Individual coaching sessions

• Group programs and masterminds

• Educational materials and resources

• Email support between sessions

• Assessment tools and intake forms

Important Distinctions

Coaching vs. Therapy: While Jennifer Moore is a licensed therapist, the services provided through this platform are primarily coaching-based. Coaching is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or medical care.

Coaching:

• Future-focused and goal-oriented

• Emphasizes personal development and professional growth

• Does not treat mental illness or psychological disorders

• Not covered by health insurance

Therapy:

• May address mental health conditions and past trauma

• Requires formal therapeutic relationship and treatment planning

• May be covered by insurance

• Available through separate clinical practice

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information in intake forms and assessments

• Attend scheduled sessions or provide 24-hour cancellation notice

• Engage actively and honestly in the coaching process

• Complete agreed-upon assignments and practices

• Maintain confidentiality regarding other group members (in group settings)

• Take responsibility for implementing insights and recommendations

You acknowledge:

• Coaching requires active participation to be effective

• Results depend on your commitment and effort

• Breakthroughs cannot be guaranteed within specific timeframes

• You are responsible for your own decisions and actions

Professional Boundaries

Scope of Services:

• Coaching sessions focus on personal development and goal achievement

• We do not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions

• Crisis intervention and emergency services are not provided

• Dual relationships (social, business, romantic) are prohibited

Referrals: If mental health treatment is needed, we will provide appropriate referrals to licensed mental health professionals.

Payment Terms

Program Fees:

• All program fees are outlined in your service agreement

• Payment plans available as specified in individual contracts

• Full payment or payment plan setup required before services begin

Session Fees:

• Breakthrough Session: $525 (due at time of booking)

• Individual sessions: As specified in your agreement

• Payment due at time of service unless other arrangements are made

Refund Policy:

• Breakthrough Sessions: Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours in advance

• Programs: Refund policy specified in individual service agreements

• No refunds for completed sessions or services already provided

Late Payments:

• Services may be suspended for accounts 30+ days overdue

• Late fees may apply as specified in your agreement

• Collection costs may be charged for seriously delinquent accounts

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Client Cancellations:

• 24-hour notice required for individual sessions

• Less than 24-hour notice may result in full session charge

• Emergency situations considered on case-by-case basis

Coach Cancellations:

• Rare, but may occur due to illness or emergency

• Make-up session scheduled at earliest mutual convenience

• No charge for coach-cancelled sessions

Confidentiality

Information Protection: We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, session content, and personal details shared during our work together.

Limits to Confidentiality: Confidentiality may be broken only when:

• Required by law (court orders, subpoenas)

• Mandatory reporting situations (abuse, neglect)

• Imminent danger to self or others

• Professional consultation (with identifying information removed when possible)

Group Settings: Participants in group programs agree to maintain confidentiality regarding other members' shared information.

Technology and Communication

Platform Usage:

• Sessions conducted via secure video conferencing (Zoom)

• Email and text support as specified in your agreement

• Technical issues do not extend session time or warrant refunds

Recording Policy:

• Sessions are not recorded without explicit written consent from all parties

• Any recordings remain confidential and are used only for agreed purposes

Intellectual Property

Our Materials: All content, materials, assessments, and methodologies provided are proprietary to Jennifer Moore and protected by copyright.

Client Usage:

• Personal use only; no redistribution or commercial use

• Materials may not be shared with others without permission

• Violation may result in immediate termination of services

Limitation of Liability

Service Limitations: Coaching services are provided "as is" without warranties of specific outcomes or results. We are not liable for:

• Decisions made based on coaching insights

• Results not achieved within expected timeframes

• Technical issues affecting session delivery

• Third-party service provider failures

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice.

Client Termination:

• 30-day written notice preferred

• Responsible for payment of completed services

• May retain access to materials as specified in agreement

Coach Termination:

• May occur for non-payment, violation of terms, or clinical reasons

• Appropriate referrals provided when clinically indicated

• Refunds handled according to individual agreements

Dispute Resolution

Preferred Process: We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns or disputes.

Formal Disputes: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes will be handled through:

• Mediation in California

• Binding arbitration if mediation fails

• Individual claims only (no class actions)

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State] without regard to conflict of law principles.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
